As a MERN/MEAN Stack Developer at Ektova Technologies, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-performance applications. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions for global clients.

About the Role:

Position: MERN / MEAN Stack Developer
Experience: 2-4 Years
Location: Kochi / Remote (as applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using MERN or MEAN technologies.
• Develop high-quality front-end interfaces using React.js or Angular.
• Design API architectures and implement backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Create efficient database schemas, queries, and aggregations in MongoDB.
• Integrate internal and external RESTful APIs.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in sprints, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in React.js or Angular, with hands-on experience in component architecture and state management.
• Strong backend skills with Node.js & Express.js.
• Proficiency in MongoDB and Mongoose ORM.
• Understanding of API development, authentication (JWT/OAuth), routing, and security best practices.
• Experience with Git/GitLab version control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Redux / NgRx for state management.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest/Mocha/Jasmine.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in MERN or MEAN stack development.
