We are looking for a QA test engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before release. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation tools, and SDLC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and risks.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Design test strategies and plans for new features and updates.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
• Work with CI/CD tools to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline.
• Generate detailed test reports and quality metrics.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• [2–4 +] years of hands-on experience in QA testing
• Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with REST API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
